Giovanni Squarta is an artisan who lives and works in Umbria. He is firstly a great fisherman, a lover of bamboo rods and silk lines. He has been handcrafting these exceptionally beautifully made reels for many years. He uses only the best Italian briar and makes every little piece of the reel. They are light and have a simple but efficient drag system. They come in a handcrafted wooden box and can be personalised with your name. Each reels requires at least 40 hours of work excluding drying times between varnishing. An excellent combination for your bamboo rod with a Terenzio silk line of course.
